Reaching Out – Asian Injection Drug Users (IDU) Program

This program primarily serves Asian injection drug users (IDUs) in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside and Chinatown. This street level outreach program provides ISU clients with support in accessing social and healthcare services, HIV/AIDS information, education and support. Our outreach worker also provides information and referrals regarding immigration, legal and housing services.

The IDU program endeavours to support users by applying a harm reduction approach, as well as encouraging those ready to access recovery services.
